We've all seen the pin if you take a mug draw on it with a Sharpie and bake it in the oven it will be permanent. So I went to the dollar store and bought a mug for a $1 oh how I love cheap. :)
I grabed me a sharpie out of my art supplies (my black sharpie has seemed of run away) and went to work.
I ended up spacing my words wrong but thats ok a rag and water fixed that. :)
Ahhh All Done!!
In the oven we go I put mine on a pan just to be safe.
425 degree at 30 min.
I put my mug in the cold oven so it could warm with the oven and I let it cool with the oven. The next morning I pulled my mug out and the top was faded.
:( So sad...
Not as sad as when I started washing it.
Yep I thank we can safely say baking a mug with sharpie on it doesn't make it permanent.... Let's see what pin next??
